christina ingersollChristina L. Ingersoll brings more than three decades of seasoned legal experience to Injury Law Associates, where she represents individuals hurt by the negligence of others. Prior to joining ILA, Christina was the owner and principal of the Ingersoll Law Office, LLC in Independence, Missouri, where she built a reputation for personal, hands-on legal advocacy as well as unmatched insight into serious injury claims.

Christina has a behind-the-scenes knowledge of how insurance companies evaluate injury claims, which she gained from first-hand experience. Before launching her own practice, Christina served as Senior Litigation Counsel at Travelers for over 27 years. There, she specialized in defending businesses and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including complex trucking and other motor vehicle cases, premises liability claims, dog-bite disputes, and product liability matters. This has all provided her with insigth she now leverages for injured plaintiffs rather than defendants.

Christina’s legal foundation was established in public service as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, where she represented the state and its employees in a wide range of civil litigation. This early career experience fortified her litigation skills and broadened her understanding of civil justice. She holds her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she cultivated sharp analytical and communication skills.

Today, Christina channels her extensive background into helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of injury law with clarity and strength. Whether handling motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, dog bites, or other personal injury claims, she combines seasoned courtroom experience with a client-centered approach aimed at securing the best possible outcomes.
