Everyone on the Injury Law Team is committed to engaging with and contributing to the community. We donate a portion of each fee to charitable causes.

Circle of Red- American Heart Association
She currently chairs the Circle of Red, a giving circle that raises several hundred thousand dollars to support women’s heart health every year. This giving circle support the annual Go Red Luncheon which raises over a million dollars a year for the American Heart Association and raises awareness for women’s heart health. Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City
Rachel has been involved with the agency for over 20 years. She was an executive member of the Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kansas City for many years, and continues to volunteer time and financial support to the agency. Ms. Smith is a member of the BBBSKC Ambassador program and sponsored the BBBSKC Empowerment breakfast in 2019, she sponsored the Draft Month campaign. Women’s Employment Network
Rachel serves on the board of the Women’s Employment Network. She is also a member of the Legacy Giving Circle, and a sponsor for the annual luncheon.
WEN ensures women in Kansas City have the resources to achieve success. They provide coaching, counseling, workshops and training.

KidsTLC
KidsTLC transforms the lives of children and families experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, developmental trauma, and autism. KidsTLC continues to respond to the growing needs of children in the Kansas City Metro area by adding critically needed services that fill community gaps and alleviate wait times for families to receive care. Programs help children heal on all levels through innovative therapeutic treatment philosophies; expressive therapies such as art, play and music therapy; and through a wealth of opportunities to improve the physical health of clients.
