Jamie Ripma

Jamie Ripma is a former prosecutor with significant courtroom and trial experience. Her career has been defined by advocacy for people navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives including crime victims, individuals facing trauma and crisis, and communities affected by institutional failures. Over the course of her legal career, she has evaluated thousands of cases, conducted evidentiary hearings, negotiated resolutions, and tried cases before juries.

Jamie grew up in a small farming community in Southeastern California near the U.S.-Mexico border. The oldest of seven children and the daughter of two public school teachers, she was raised in a family where everyone was expected to pull their weight. She spent much of her childhood raising pigs through 4-H, hunting and fishing with her brothers, and helping raise her younger siblings. Her upbringing and career as an attorney have taught her that good people can still get hurt, overlooked, or treated unfairly—even when they have done everything right.

Jamie graduated magna cum laude from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC and earned her juris doctorate at California Western School of Law in San Diego. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cheering for the Kansas City Current, and amateur sailing on Lake Jacomo.
